Marley was really pretty upset when she found out that Sydney got to visit Grammy and Papa and she wasn't going to be able to. There was no consoling the girl, she just really wanted to see her Grammy and Papa. Then about 10:00 PM the night before Syd and I left for Missouri, Marley had a fabulous idea. She had read about the boy, Flat Stanley that folds himself up in envelopes and mails himself all over the world. She quickly got to work designing a "Marley" that would fit easily into our luggage and stowed herself away in a small pocket of my suitcase.
Marley loved to see and smell all of the flowers growing in Missouri. She thought they were just beautiful! These Zinnias were her favorite!!
At home when we go out for dinner at a restaurant, Marley usually fills her pockets full of sugar packets. Flat Marley was no different.
By the way Grammy and Papa I think that Flat Marley is in the pocket behind the passenger seat of your truck. She is probably getting pretty hungry.
