The Zoo

Eliza and I got to go on a field trip with Marley to the zoo.

It was fun and Eliza had all of the girls carrying her around like she was a princess.

While we were there the girls had to fill out a paper describing physical and environmental adaptations the animals had made through history. A couple of the girls, Marley included were a little obsessive about getting the paper done early. They wrote about white tigers, ground hogs, pirannas, sharks and a couple of other things. They were so proud to get it done so we could just enjoy the rest of the zoo. We saw all of the animals and had about ten minutes to kill before we had to meet the other groups to go back to school. So we stopped by the petting zoo on our way to the bus.

As we stepped through the gate......... a goat ate our homework.
