So, after church on Sunday Rob tells me I need to teach Price to dance by Wednesday. You see, the Stake was putting on a back-to-school dance and the 12 and 13 year-olds were invited. I asked Price if he knew how to dance and he said that some of the other deacons who had been to a dance before had told him how. Well that is just not good enough. So in Price's honor, nay, in the honor of all girls everywhere we had a dance lesson so my boy could learn some rules of dancing.

Rule #1 Sometimes (though rarely) it is OK to let your inner Travolta out

Rule #2 If you are going to dip her you should be strong enough to get her back to vertical
Rule #3 Respectable hand placement
Rule #4 Keep them guessing

Rule #5 Always smile so they think you are having fun
(because that is what you are having)

Rule #6 (and perhaps the most important of all) Dance with one girl and she and all of the other girls who see you dance with her will think that you like her. If you ask five girls to dance they will just think you are a fun guy.

Price it lucky to have so many sisters to practice with. Those were also very good rules. I'm going to remember to tell them to all of my kids.
