The waiting game

My Mom and Dad have been on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the past year and a half. We have missed them more than words can say. We know that what they have been doing is important and worth missing them. They are done now and have been driving home for the past few days.

When the kids got home from school everyone got together to wait for them. We decorated the drive way with sidewalk chalk and waited and waited and waited. We were so excited!!!!

We got a phone call saying they were almost home and all the kids ran into the street, held hands then all of a sudden they started singing, "We are children holding hands around the world." So funny!

I love that song! It looks like you had a great welcoming home party.

I bet your parents just loved their welcoming committee. Glad they're home!
