Eliza: Is it Halloween today!!!?
Me: Not yet it is in a couple of weeks.
Eliza: Then why is it so dark outside?
Me: Because as we get closer to winter the days get shorter.
Eliza: It is winter!!!?
Me: Not yet, but it will keep getting darker in the mornings until after Christmas time.
Eliza: IT IS CHRISTMAS!!!!?
Me: No not yet.
Eliza: (a little disappointed) Then when will it be Christmas?
Me: Not until after Thanksgiving.
Eliza: It is Thanksgiving!!!?
Me: No not yet.
Eliza: (exasperated) Then why did you say Thanksgiving?

I love their logic:) So cute. I miss that at our house.
