My brother-in-law, Blake, just started the coolest company!!!
He uses infrared technology to help you know exactly where you are wasting energy in your home. He can help you know where you are missing insulation, if you have a water leak, or exactly where your air conditioner or heater are letting air escape. It is so cool! These two pictures are of our entryway. The glowing orange spots are places where our insulation is missing. It is easy and inexpensive for Rob to put insulation there and now it is a lot cooler.
We also have a wall in our master bedroom that is glowing orange. Heat is just seeping in that wall. Blake suggested that we plant a tree outside the wall and get curtains that can block out the sun in the afternoon. Both things that are inexpensive but will help us save on our energy bill and make it more comfortable our bedroom.
