My husband has B.O.!!! Big time!

No Rob, doesn't have body odor. He has Boat Obsession.

So for at least four years now Rob has been wanting a boat. We made an agreement on what we had to do before we could get a boat. We had to pay off our student loans and our car and then have the money to purchase a boat. So about a month ago we met all of the requirements. He has been checking the Boat Trader magazine and Craig's list and every boat that we saw for sale going down the street. He finally found the perfect one for us!

I thought the B.O. would be over when we got the boat. Now I know that was just the beginning. He has to fix stuff on the boat, because we didn't get a brand new one. We have to get stuff to be able to have fun with the boat and get stuff to be able to invite other people to go with us.

Money, money, money, mone'.

I was soooo nieve.

Can you tell that he is happy with his purchase?

Yesterday was the last day of school and we have been telling the kids all week we would go to the lake the day after school got out. We had Travis and Tirzah, Syd's BFF, spend the night so we could head out to the lake early this morning.

So this has been the weirdest weather week in Phoenix that I can remember. At the first of the week it was 110 degrees. So hot, but that is understandable because we live in Phoenix and it is almost June. So out of nowhere the weather cools off big time. This morning our thermometer read 52 degrees and there are clouds covering the entire sky. No blue.

Should we stay or should we go?

Well we are always up for a good time so we bundled up, got tons of snacks and drinks and took off for the Lake.

Eliza is a "lake girl." We took her to the lake for the first time when she was only two months old. She has already been up to Lake Powell five or six times, I can't remember. This is the face that she has on most of the time we are on the boat.

The boat we got had a name, "Wanderin Star." That isn't really our style so I asked Rob if he wanted to rename it. He said it would have to be a pretty good name, otherwise we'll just scrape off the old one.

My suggestion is...

"Rob's B.O."
