Lane: So you are going to come to my water day at school.
Me: Yeah, but just for a little while
Lane: Water day is tomorrow and then graduation the next day....I don't think I am ready.
Me: To graduate from kindergarten?
Lane: Huh?...Yeah!

Lane: Great!

Lane: I can't.
Me: Why not?
Lane: You're not my mom.
Maybe she will share more with me when she is a first grader...
